The training was made possible by the “Strengthening Fundraising Capacities for Displaced Universities” project of the Fulbright Program in Ukraine “Strengthening Ukrainian Displaced Universities for Sustainability” with the financial support of the Press, Education and Culture Section of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
During 10 hours of intensive work, coach Ruslan Kraplych, is one of the well-known fundraising practitioners in Ukraine, introduced participants to actually operating mechanism of resource accumulation. Basic tools of fundraising were discussed using examples of successful projects implemented at the Ukrainian Catholic University.
Also, the training identified prospective fundraising projects for the University.
A logical extension of work is depended to a realistic tool for involvement donor resources to the University. Fundraising Projects at Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University will be implemented mediocre via a charitable foundation.
