An online meeting of scientists of the Department of Germanic-Roman Philology and Translation of the Faculty of International Relations of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and Royal Holloway University of London was held within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the universities.
Head of the Department of English Language Prof. Ruth Livesey, Head of the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures Prof. Ruth Hemus, Acting Head of the Department Alona Bovt, Associate Professors Iryna Afonina and Olha Taranenko, Lecturer Kyrylo Ihoshev discussed the possibilities of joint research in the field of English literature and translation studies.
Further work will promote the exchange of knowledge and strengthen research ties between universities and provide support to students and teachers during the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
