Scientific and pedagogical advanced training in STEAM education

Lecturers of the Department of Computer-Integrated Control Systems of the Faculty of Information Technology and Electronics Tetiana Sotnikova and Anastasiia Asmankina were trained in the program “STEM and STEAM: Scientific and Practical Trends in the Development of Digitalization in the Context of European Integration” (180 hours – 6 ECTS credits).

The scientific and pedagogical advanced training focused on the issues of educational paradigms of artificial intelligence, theoretical and practical aspects of STEM education, cloud technologies, industry 5.0, STEM modeling, etc.

In the course of the training, the participants also considered the creation and functioning of modern STEAM centers, which is especially important when restoring the Digital Prototyping and Manufacturing Laboratory (FabLab) at the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, which operates on the basis of the Department of Computer-Integrated Control Systems.
