Students majoring in 053 Psychology and teachers of the Department of Psychology and Sociology attended a lecture by Doctor of Psychology, Professor Yurii Shvalba, Head of the Laboratory of Environmental Psychology of the H.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of Social Work of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The speaker focused on the definition of the concepts of “motive,” “need,” and “motivation” in psychology, the peculiarities of the formation of the motivational sphere of the individual under the influence of external circumstances, the struggle of motives, and the regulation of behavior and activity. The lecture was held in a creative atmosphere of open discussions and professional communication.
