The “Justitia et lex” team of law students took part in a legal battle – the V National Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian Law.
The competition is aimed at encouraging law students and practicing lawyers at the beginning of their careers to study international humanitarian law and public international law in general, the specifics of the UN International Criminal Tribunals, their jurisdiction and activities through the simulation of a trial based on a pre-formed plot.
Students Oleksii Andreiev, Danylo Stepchenko, Anastasiia Lupenko and Ihor Tatarenko, an intern at the PRO BONO Legal Clinic, represented the team’s position both as defense and prosecution and managed to reach the 1/4 finals of the competition.
