Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University teachers took part in the XVII International Scientific Conference “Monitoring of Geological Processes and Ecological Condition of the Environment” held at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The conference addressed the need to rebuild infrastructure, provide resources for strategic industries, and monitor the environmental condition of the territory where military operations are taking place. Vadym Tarasov, Dean of the Faculty of Human Health, presented “Coal metamorphism and elemental oxygen content” and Irina Glikina, Professor of Chemical Engineering and Ecology, presented “Monitoring of waste processing technologies to restore energy needs.”
The conference was represented by the following technical sessions:
- modern technologies of geophysical monitoring;
- aerospace methods of monitoring;
- geohazards monitoring and mitigation geophysics in engineering geology, soil science, archaeology, ecology;
- monitoring of environmental and economic risks;
- geographic information systems and technologies;
- monitoring of aquatic environment and atmospheric air;
- monitoring, fixation and assessing the impact of the war;
- monitoring in prospecting and development of mineral deposits;
- geological modeling and matter of the earth.
