A Memorandum was signed between Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and Svatove City Military Administration (MMA) of Svatove district, Luhansk region.
During the signing of the document, the Rector of the University Olha Porkuian noted that the purpose of the long-term partnership between the University and the territorial community of Luhansk region is to involve the scientific and educational potential of the university in the future process of rebuilding the de-occupied territories.
The university has always been a reliable partner of local institutions and authorities, actively participates in development and post-war reconstruction projects in Ukraine, has considerable experience in strategic planning and cooperation in involving employees in the work on the restoration and development of territorial communities in various areas of activity.
It is worth reminding that by the decision of the Government, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University was designated as a priority higher education institution for training a reserve of managerial, educational and medical personnel to work in the de-occupied territories.
Also, by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University was designated as critical for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the vital activity of the population during the special period.
