Olha Telushkina, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Light Industry Technologies of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, gave an open online lecture on “Color Properties” for students of the Design Technologies, Design and Modern Finishing of Light Industry Products studying the course “Art Graphics and Color Science”.
The lecture was also attended by 3rd and 4th year students of the Kyiv Professional College of Applied Sciences majoring in 182 “Light Industry Technologies” and 022 “Design”.
During the lecture, the students learned about the physical properties of color, the features of different types of mixing paints and ways to obtain pure spectral colors. The speaker also emphasized the need to study the psychological and physiological effects of color on humans based on scientific research.
